We spent our time in Coron on this incredible houseboat anchored in a sapphire blue lagoon. The crystal clear water offered snorkeling almost as good as the Great Barrier Reef. Surrounding the lagoon were jagged limestone cliffs that raked the sky with their dark ridges. We ended up getting upgraded from our tiny bunker room to the suite which was a HUGE upgrade! We had our own porch, kayak, and paddle board we could take any time we wanted. We kayaked to secret beaches and found exotic shells. We navigated through narrow canyons of limestone in the kayak and discovered hidden lagoons—all at our leisure. Most people pay a tour group to come visit the lagoon we were staying in, so it was great to just be there already. We kayaked through the twilight and came back just as it was too dark to see beyond your paddle. I got a little nervous of the large exotic jellyfish lazing around our lagoon. The tiny beaches had pure white sand. We sent the drone up to get some spectacular Ariel views of the island. With only a tense scrape with drone death by water, we were able to see how gorgeous the island actually was. Each of our meals were personally delivered on a little boat right to our porch. It was a truly luxurious place to stay.
